Samsung Galaxy S24 And S24 Ultra Release Date Leaked By Walmart

just before Samsung’s big ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event of 2024, something interesting happened. The Galaxy S24 Plus unexpectedly showed up on Walmart’s online store, revealing a bunch of details about the flagship phone. One thing that got our attention was all the cool stuff Samsung plans to bring to this version, and there’s a lot.

January 1 Update: It turns out that the S24 Plus wasn’t the only Samsung previewed by Walmart. Another page, since deleted, mentioned the top-of-the-range Galaxy S24 Ultra and was spotted in a post on X by @BennettBuhner

The Galaxy S24 Plus was seen in an Onyx Black color at Walmart. Even though the listing is gone now, we snagged some key info. Looking at the pictures, the design doesn’t seem very impressive. It almost looks like Samsung reused the Galaxy S23 Plus design and slapped the ‘Galaxy S24 Plus’ name on it.

But, it seems like Samsung spent most of its energy on making this phone powerful. The Galaxy S24 Plus comes with a big 12GB RAM, the first time a ‘Plus’ version is getting this much memory. It also comes with many features, including ‘Live Translate,’ ‘Generative Edit,’ ‘Nightography Zoom,’ and more.

The screen is said to be a bit bigger than the Galaxy S23 Plus, giving the Galaxy S24 Plus more screen space and room for a bigger battery. Even with these upgrades, there’s no mention of some fancy features like on-device LLM (Large Language Models) or two-way satellite communication, which is a bit disappointing.

Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra is entering a busy smartphone market, bringing three features that could make you like your new phone.

1. Super Camera:

The camera is a big deal for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It has a main 200-megapixel lens and three more lenses for different things. This camera is expected to be good, making all the other Galaxy phones in 2024 look great for photos.

The S-Pen is like a magic pen that you can use with the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It used to be in the Galaxy Note phones, but now it’s in the main Galaxy S phones. This pen helps you do cool things like editing photos more precisely, writing notes, and drawing ideas.

3. New S-Pen Hardware:

There’s a new S-Pen that got certified before the launch. This means the Galaxy S24 Ultra will keep Samsung ahead in making phones that work with a pen.

Excitement is building as retail stores in Brazil have started showcasing the upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra through eye-catching posters. A poster on X, shared by @sondesix, provides a clear view of the design, cameras, S Pen stylus, and the intriguing term ‘Galaxy AI.’ The picture shows off the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s remarkable features and shows off its Titanium Gray variant.

The phone’s quad-camera setup is prominently featured in the displayed image, accompanied by a laser autofocus unit. Notably, the color-matched S Pen stylus is also visible. Two microphones situated at the top of the phone suggest enhanced audio capabilities. A structure line on the phone’s frame suggests that it has a strong metal construction, and there have been leaks that suggest a titanium frame might be used for increased durability.

Samsung Ai

The poster introduces us to ‘Galaxy AI,’ a suite of AI and Generative AI-powered features set to debut on the Galaxy S24 series. A disclaimer below the phone image notes, “Merely illustrative images. A Samsung Account login may be required to access certain AI features. S Pen is compatible with the S24 Ultra but not with the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+. The availability of colors and models may vary according to stock and/or channel.”

Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S24 series with the pre-installed Android 14-based One UI 6.1. Many AI-powered features will be added to this updated UI, enhancing the user experience even further. Anticipated features include live language translation during voice calls, a Generative-AI-powered wallpaper generator, weather effects for the lock screen wallpaper, notes summarization in Samsung Notes, voice tagging, and transliteration of up to ten people from voice recordings, along with Generative AI filling in images.

A seamless user experience and state-of-the-art technology are what the Galaxy S24 series promises, so stay tuned for its official launch.

Will we get more details before the January launch? Let’s wait and see!
